Antique Shirvan Scatter Rug

This Caucasian Shirvan was handmade in a tribal village in the mid 1800's. The wool was hand spun and colored with vegetable dyes to create the long lasting and earthy deep blues, saffrons, olives, creamy whites and accents of teal. This is an extremely rare beauty that we has been professionally deep cleaned and repaired to be ready for the next chapter of its life.

Areas of ware are consistent with a rug of this age and are what give it its charm.
