Handcarved Koa Wood Bowl

Made on the Big Island of Hawaii by master woodworker, Gene Buscher, this stunning hand carved wood bowl is a work of art. He is known for his "live edge" detailing of the precious Koa wood, a technique he developed to ensure that as little waste was created as possible. He often will reclaim smaller pieces of Koa that are unable to be used by other woodworkers or forage for fallen trees on the island, making each of his pieces completely unique.
