Heirloom (8' x 10')

This beautiful antique kilim was created to lay extremely flat and be incredibly durable. Woven in the early 1900's with 100% wool fibers and vegetable dyes, this rug is a masterful example of artistry and technique. Variation of blue and pink hues were created from subtle differences in each batch of dyed wool, coupled with fading from sun exposure. As a final step in a kilim's creation, the rugs were often laid out in fields for months to achieve the perfect tonalities of the colors.

We recommend using a rug pad to secure your rug on the floor. Cut pads to 1" smaller  on every side for best results.
