Antique Malayer Runner

Gently muted grey and greens on this antique Malayer runner allow it to anchor many spaces with a subtle statement. We love that antique rugs are meant for use- they make great hallway and kitchen pieces and can stand up to even the heaviest foot traffic or spill. 

Woven by hand with vegetable dyes in the early 1900s, this rug is a beauty. The field celebrates highlights of sand, slate grey and chocolate with an all encompassing undertone of olive green.  The compilation of months of work and thousands of individually hand tied knots come together to create this incredible work of art. 

This rug has been professionally repaired and cleaned.

We recommend using a rug pad to secure your rug on the floor. Cut pads to 1" smaller on every side for best results.
