Vintage Malayer Runner

Earthy colors on this vintage Malayer runner allow it to anchor many spaces with a subtle statement. We love that old rugs are meant for use- they make great hallway and kitchen pieces and can stand up to even the heaviest foot traffic or spill. 

Warm earth tones of tan, sand, chocolate and the faintest light blue, grace the field of this vintage Malayer runner. Woven in the mid 1900's in the villages of the Malayer region, beautiful variation of color flows from one end of the rug to the other, celebrating the organic nature of different batches of the vegetable dyes used in the weaving process. The compilation of months of work and thousands of individually hand tied knots come together to create this incredible work of art. 

This rug has been professionally repaired and cleaned.

We recommend using a rug pad to secure your rug on the floor. Cut pads to 1" smaller on every side for best results.
