Antique Persian Tabriz Scatter Rug

Woven by hand with vegetable dyes in the early 1900's, this Tabriz scatter rug is truly spectacular. The compilation of thousands of individually hand tied knots come together to create this incredible work of art. The city of Tabriz is one of the oldest and most well known rug producing regions of the world. The weavers who worked to create this rug were some of the finest and most highly skilled in their trade. 

Hues of slate blue, cornsilk and cream grace the field. 

This rug has been professionally repaired and cleaned.

We recommend using a rug pad to secure your rug on the floor. Cut pads to 1" smaller  on every side for best results.
