Vintage Persian Malayer Scatter Rug

Woven by hand with vegetable dyes around 1950, this Malayer scatter rug is truly spectacular. The compilation of months of work and thousands of individually hand tied knots come together to create this incredible work of art. Olive and chocolate colored botah designs are the dominant motif throughout the field and a floral pattern is woven along the border. 

Hues of sky blue, olive, chocolate and cream grace the field. 

This rug has been professionally repaired and cleaned.

We recommend using a rug pad to secure your rug on the floor. Cut pads to 1" smaller  on every side for best results.
